Choose the competition before comparing a score or ranking. These four guides separate the UMB circuit, individual world title, PBA set play and federation-specific national events. Results are dated; event notices remain the source for entry.
Choose a competition
- UMB World Cup
The UMB World Cup is a series, not the single annual world-title tournament. Its season classification and the UMB’s other ranking lists answer different questions; identify the list and edition before quoting a ranking.
- UMB World Three-Cushion Championship
The individual World Championship awards a world title at one edition. It is distinct from the World Cup circuit and from national-team, women’s and junior championships.
- Korean PBA Pro Tour
PBA and the parallel LPBA are separate competitions from UMB events. Set scores, a shootout and the circuit’s own ranking must be read under PBA rules rather than imported from a UMB score sheet.
- National Championships
National championships are a category of competitions, not one global tournament. A national title, a category-stage victory and a place in a selection ranking are not necessarily the same result.
Ranking lists
UMB and PBA maintain separate rankings. Current official lists — not profile copy — govern entry and seeding.
Comparing formats
Format is event-specific. UMB World Cup 2025 rules use 30/35/40-point qualifying groups, a 40-point final group round and 50-point knockout; PBA 2026-27 match length changes by round with a 33-second clock.
