The World Championship is the most prestigious title in three-cushion. Held once per year, qualification runs through national federations: each major billiards nation (Belgium, Türkiye, Korea, Netherlands, Egypt, Vietnam, Spain, Sweden, Germany, France) sends 1–4 representatives. The tournament is single-elimination from 32 to final. Match format is uniformly 50 points — no shorter early rounds — so endurance under pressure decides outcomes.
