Beyond UMB and PBA circuits, every billiards nation runs its own championship. The Belgian, Turkish, and Korean national titles are the most competitive — winning them requires beating 10+ world-ranked compatriots in a single tournament. National titles also feed UMB World Championship qualification: each federation distributes 1–4 World Championship slots based on national ranking.

Why follow it?

National championships often produce the best matches: smaller venues, fierce regional rivalries, players willing to take greater risks. Belgian and Korean nationals are particularly fierce — both nations have 5+ world-class players competing for 1 title.
