3-Cushion Billiards Simulator and 3-Ball Trainer

Build a three-cushion or free-carom position, tune the full cue contact, compare practical shot families, replay the result and keep a local practice record. The calibrated simulator is a training reference—not a guarantee for a real table.

How the Simulator Works

3ball runs a calibrated physics-based 2D training model in your browser. Ball, cushion, spin and cloth responses are approximated by simulation; results are a comparative practice reference, not a guarantee of behavior on real equipment.

No machine learning. One Physics V3 search follows the active three-cushion or free-carom rule, evaluates direct, cushion and elevated stroke families, removes duplicates and orders the portfolio from easy and stable to demanding and risky. Real-table measurement status remains clearly disclosed.

Practicing from a real table? Local classical computer vision suggests corners and ball positions without the photo leaving your device. You must review and can edit every point before transfer; if suggestions are unreliable, place every point manually. A homography maps only the points you approve. No machine learning is used and accuracy is not guaranteed.

3ball supports two rule sets: full international 3-cushion, where the cue ball must contact three cushions before completing contact with both object balls, and 3-ball Free carom, which has no cushion requirement and is a good way to build fundamentals first.
